Tied Piper - Silk Scarf
In a palette of rich woodland hues, the Tied Piper scarf reimagines the folktale of the Pied Piper of Hamelin. In this portrayal, rather than kidnapping all of the children of Hamelin after not being paid for a freelance gig, the Piper is captured by a group of cunning forest creatures and forced to play his flute 'til the end of his days. (Which, unless the raccoons remember to feed him, shouldn't be long!) Hidden in this scarf, you'll find dozens of delightful details such as cheeky little animals, practical knots for joining ropes, and some of my favorite wild edible mushrooms -- all hand-drawn by yours truly.
This illustration is limited to only 50 scarves, and will never be reprinted. While the scarves are being printed and sewn, pre-orders are available now with an expected delivery of mid June, shipping from North Carolina. The discounted price is only available during the pre-order window.
The scarf is constructed from deliciously soft (yet surprisingly durable) silk twill, mirror-printed on both sides of the fabric to ensure vibrancy and decadence no matter how you tie it.
