Logandria is designed and run by Logan Spector, a print designer and illustrator currently living in Ottawa, Canada. Her deliciously luxurious and hedonistic silk scarves are inspired by her travels and daydreams, mythology and fantasy, and eroticism.
Each illustration begins on paper in Logan's sketchbook. Beginning sketches vary from detailed and refined visions to just rough assemblages of color and shape. As the concept begins to take form in her head and on paper, Logan begins the long process of re-drawing those sketches by hand, using a pen tablet and Photoshop. As figures and objects begin to take form, layers of detail and pattern are slowly added, giving the work depth, intrigue, and dozens of hidden details that are a delight to discover.
Logan graduated Summa Cum Laude from Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Illustration and a focus in motion in 2017. Since then, she’s been working successfully and contently as a freelance illustrator, but she’s happiest pursuing her own passion projects, like making eccentric accessories for interesting people.
