Marginalia III - Twilly
Illustrated by guest artist Fyodor Pavlov, a cavalcade of amorous demons and composite beasts tumbles across this long skinny scarf on a star-scattered background of rich mossy green. The theme takes inspiration from medieval illustrations doodled in the margins of illuminated manuscripts, often of a wildly sexual or scatalogical nature. So, while these illustrations may feel indecorous to some, they're not that far off from illustrations found in some of Christianity's most sacred texts...
This long silk scarf is constructed from two layers of pure silk twill, with vivid digital printing on both sides. It looks fabulous when worn as a cravat, a belt, a headband, a hairbow, or however you wish to style it.
This illustration is limited to an edition of only 75 silk scarves and will never be reprinted.
